Ghana Parking provides mobile parking services for drivers and participating parking operators. This policy explains the information used to provide those services.
Information we collect
- Account information, including your name, email address and authentication details.
- Vehicle information, including registration details you enter.
- Parking information, including selected spaces, session times and session status.
- Payment records, including amount, currency, provider reference and payment status. Ghana Parking does not store complete payment-card details.
- Technical information needed to protect accounts, diagnose faults and maintain service reliability.
- Location information when you grant permission and use a feature requiring location.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account.
- Provide parking-space, session and payment services.
- Send essential account and password-recovery messages.
- Prevent fraud, investigate disputes and enforce service rules.
- Improve reliability and respond to support requests.
- Meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Service providers
Information is shared only when needed with service providers supporting hosting, email delivery, payment processing and technical operations. Payment transactions are processed through Paystack under its own privacy terms.
Data security
Ghana Parking uses encrypted network connections, access controls and account-security measures. No online system offers absolute security, so access is limited to the information needed for each function.
Retention and deletion
Account information is kept while your account is active. When deletion is requested, personal information is deleted or anonymized unless transaction, fraud-prevention, tax or legal obligations require limited records to remain for a defined period.
Your choices
You may review or update account information through the app. You may also request account deletion from the app or the account-deletion page.
Changes
Material changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
